Clinical Development Fellow Department: Specialist Oncology Services

About the role

The Beatson Cancer Centre is looking to appoint 6 Clinical Development Fellows. 2 starting from February 2025 for 12 months and 4 from August 2025. The programme provides training in all aspects of Oncology and opportunity for Palliative Medicine and Clinical Haematology placements.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Oncology Consultants and Specialty Trainees, the Clinical Development Fellows will be expected to participate in the management of patients with cancer at a ward level. Opportunities are also available for access to outpatient clinics, radiotherapy, an Acute Oncology Assessment Unit and an Enhanced Care Unit.

Requirements

• Desirable to possess MRCP (UK/I) or equivalent by commencement of post.
• Experience in Oncology, Palliative Medicine or clinical Haematology would also be advantageous.

Qualifications

It is desirable that candidates possess MRCP (UK/I) or equivalent by commencement of post.
