About the role

A clinical coordinator position is available in the Obstetrics & Gynecology department at a clinic in Celebration, FL.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care coordination and support services
• Assist with patient scheduling and appointment management
• Handle patient inquiries and triage calls
• Support administrative tasks such as insurance verification
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to enhance patient care

Requirements

• Bilingual in English & Spanish
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an OB/GYN practice or related healthcare setting
• Experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical office
• Solid clinical knowledge of obstetrics and gynecology, including medical terminology and basic medical procedures
• Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing responsibilities, multitask effectively, and manage time efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Proficient in computer skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Three (3) or more years of customer service experience
• Three (3) or more years of experience using medical terminology in a healthcare setting
• Three (3) or more years of computer proficiency in a professional healthcare environment

Skills

• Experience in patient triage, care coordination, and healthcare administrative functions
• Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare practice environment as a Medical Assistant
• Experience with insurance verification and related administrative processes
• Experience using Athena health and/or Epic EMR systems
