About the role
This position will coordinate and balance the needs of a diverse student population and faculty, and manage multiple science materials, media, and inventory. The role requires the ability to adapt, direct, and multi-task, with exemplary lab and organizational skills.
Hourly rate of $28–31/hr based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining information tracking sheets for academics
- Assist with scanning of documents for academics
- Operate a variety of office equipment, including computers, printers, photocopiers, fax machines, scanners, and calculators
- Assist in maintaining and updating existing academic files
- Assist with updating program-specific forms
- Audit faculty and student files for academic programs and notify appropriate individuals of missing or outdated documentation
- Schedule all clinical rotations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to maintain records
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Teams
- Ability to shift quickly from one task to another to maintain productivity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Medical terminology knowledge or work experience in healthcare
Physical Demands
- Standing/Walking: Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods
- Sitting: Must be able to remain in a seated position for extended periods
- Lifting/Carrying: Must be able to lift and carry up to [weight] pounds
- Pushing/Pulling: Must be able to push or pull objects
