About the Role

The Clinical Coordinator/Assistant Director of Nursing provides leadership and oversight to all RNs, LPNs, Medication Assistants, and Resident Assistants in their household. This position reports to the Clinical Administrator and is part of the site leadership team, participating in planning and implementing strategies to ensure high-quality resident care while achieving operational goals.

HallMar Village is a joint ministry of Mercy Medical Center and Presbyterian Homes & Services, offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, and long-term care. The community features inviting living spaces, outdoor patios, courtyards, gardening spaces, and walking trails.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the household team to implement and manage the clinical staff and program, ensuring high-quality resident care and services consistent with regulations and clinical best practices.
  • Partner with Resident Services to blend housing, healthcare, and hospitality for residents.
  • Participate in planning and implementing strategies to achieve short- and long-term operational goals for the site.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current licensure from the State Board of Nursing in the state(s) of practice.
  • Two to three (2-3) years of experience in Long-Term Care; management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in gerontological nursing, rehabilitative, and restorative clinical practices.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate effectively with all customers.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with an on-call rotation.
