Clinical Center Associate I/Clinical Associate II/Senior Clinical Center Associate (Full Time/Temporary-Benefited)
About the role
We are seeking a Clinical Center Associate I (CCA I), Clinical Center Associate II (CCA II), or Senior Clinical Center Associate (Sr. CCA) to work within our Nursing - 7 North department.
Responsibilities
- Answering calls and assisting patients and visitors
- Managing clinic schedules
- Accurately recording physician orders
- Guiding patients through their visits
- Handling co-pay collections with care and professionalism
- Collaborating closely with a supportive care team
Qualifications
Senior Clinical Center Associate
- Education and Experience: Medical Office Assistant Associate’s degree and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or Associate’s degree and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma, completion of an Roswell Park-approved Medical Assistant certificate program and the equivalent of five (5) year of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of five (5) year of full-time experience in customer service and successful completion of a Clinical Center Associate traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park).
Clinical Center Associate II
- Education and Experience: Medical Office Assistant Associate’s degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or Associate’s degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma, completion of an Roswell Park-approved Medical Assistant certificate program and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in customer service and successful completion of a Clinical Center Associate traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park).
