Clinical Center Associate Trainee (Full Time/Temporary-Benefited/First Shift)
Summary

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Clinical Center Associate to keep our Ambulatory Services - Gynecology department running smoothly. In this role, you’ll be the welcoming face and steady hand behind the scenes—answering calls, assisting patients and visitors, managing clinic schedules, and accurately recording physician orders. You’ll help guide patients through their visits, handle co-pay collections with care and professionalism, and collaborate closely with a supportive care team. Working in a confidential, supervised setting, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring exceptional service, seamless operations, and a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Qualifications
- Required Education and Experience:
- A medical office assistant associate’s degree; or an associate’s degree and one (1) year of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology;
- A high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma, completion of an Roswell Park-approved Medical Assistant certificate program, and one (1) year of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology;
- A high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma, two (2) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology;
- A high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma, one (1) year of full-time experience in customer service, and successful completion of a Clinical Center Associate traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park).
