Clinical Cardio-Oncologist, Academic Clinician - Senior ranks

Description

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Teaching Responsibilities

• Educating medical students, residents, cardiovascular fellows and advanced practice providers
• Contributing to the educational mission of the organization
• The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching

Clinical Responsibilities

• Attending on the inpatient and outpatient services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and associated practice sites
• Providing services for general cardiology patients based on the needs of the division, as the Cardio-Oncology Program is part of the Consultative (general) Cardiology Section
• Opportunities for non-invasive imaging will be considered on an individual basis taking into consideration applicant expertise and divisional priorities

Qualifications

• M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
• Board certified or board eligible in cardiovascular diseases
