Clinical Asst/Asso Prof - Oral Surgery

Duties and Responsibilities

• Didactic and clinical teaching
• Managing patient care
• Supervision of resident and pre-doctoral students
• Serving on MUSoD’s Medical Emergency Response Team
• Participating in scholarly activities as appropriate

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• DMD / DDS degree from a US or Canadian dental school recognized by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation or an equivalent foreign degree
• Completed an advanced education program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery accredited by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation, or an equivalent foreign program
• A current, valid license to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin, or be eligible for a dental faculty license in the State of Wisconsin
• CPR certification

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience in moderate sedation
• Previous clinical teaching experience
• The potential for teaching excellence and high-quality research
