Faculty position in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at The University of Kansas Medical Center, providing evidence-based, patient-centered clinical care for adult otolaryngology conditions. This role primarily supports clinical services at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, with additional affiliated locations as needed. The faculty member contributes to resident and trainee education, clinical supervision, and departmental service activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized clinical, educational, and/or research services using current, evidence-based practices.
  • Deliver comprehensive services across clinical settings, classroom environments, laboratory settings, or a combination thereof.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams, research groups, academic programs, and institutional partners to support patient care, program development, innovation, and scholarly activity.
  • Contribute to the education, training, and mentorship of learners, including students, trainees, and other designated groups.
  • Participate in departmental and divisional meetings, case conferences, teaching rounds, seminars, and other academic activities as assigned.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain expertise in clinical practice, procedural skills, teaching, and/or research focus.

Requirements

  • MD, DO, or equivalent degree.
  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Otolaryngology.
  • Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri.
