Duties/Responsibilities
Develop and deliver instructional material in alignment with course objectives and student outcomes.
Utilize a variety of appropriate teaching strategies to promote student learning.
Evaluate and document student progress and provide relevant and timely feedback to students.
Collaborate with faculty colleagues to develop, support and implement curriculum.
Actively participate in governance for the School of Nursing.
Serve on School of Nursing, college or university committees as required.
Participate in evaluation of programs and accreditation activities.
Serve as an academic advisor to nursing students.
Minimum Qualifications
- Hold a doctoral degree (DNP, EdD, PhD) in nursing or education
- Must be eligible for a NH nursing license
- Have 2-4 years of nursing education experience
- Able to work effectively with a culturally and academically diverse student population
- Able to work independently and effectively interact with a wide array of parties at all levels (students, faculty, administration/staff, external constituents)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven dedication to student learning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with college-age and non-traditional students
- Ability to cultivate external relationships with community leaders, institutions, and stakeholders
- Experience teaching via online learning management systems
- Demonstrated ability to work with faculty, staff, and students as well as community groups of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, sexual orientation, disability and ethnic backgrounds
Compensation
Pay Range $100,000-$110,000/Annual
