Key Responsibilities
- Providing basic direct care to patients as delegated by a Registered Nurse.
- Aiding in direct procedural care as part of a multi-disciplinary team as delegated by a Registered Nurse.
- Performing fibroscans, breath tests, and other procedural responsibilities under the oversight of a Registered Nurse.
- Absorbing and recording routine information such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of the unit.
- Communicating with patients and physicians directly.
- Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to a Registered Nurse.
- Supporting the motility program by assisting in setting up and calibrating motility equipment, and assisting in motility procedural care as directed by the Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year Certified Assistant (CA) experience, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, or Nursing Student with at least one clinical rotation.
- Skills: Good communication skills and the ability to work on a team.
