About the role

The Clinical Assistant position at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is a full-time regular FTE role with a 0.900000 FTE. This position is exempt and located at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children. The work schedule is rotating 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nursing and health care procedures
• Conduct certain clerical services
• Support and educate patients and families to ensure optimal health outcomes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a team-oriented environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of nurse aide course with certification OR completion of nursing fundamentals
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card
• One year of clinical experience OR successful completion of HPH Nurse Aide Program
• Current Hawaii CNA certificate
• One year clerical experience in a healthcare setting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of nurse aide course with certification OR completion of nursing fundamentals
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card
