Clinical Assistant (Bilingual-English/Spanish)

About the role

The Clinical Assistant at Mia Aesthetics is responsible for preparing patients for surgery by verifying their information, assisting with examinations, recording data, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient information (medical history, purpose of visit) by communicating with patients.
• Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking vital signs.
• Records appropriate patient information on patient charts and/or Salesforce.
• Safeguards patient information and maintains confidentiality.
• Counsels patients by transmitting physician's orders and answering questions about surgery.
• Aids in the preparation of charts, pre-admission, and consent forms.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following established standards and complying with legal regulations.
• Keeps inventory of supplies up-to-date as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Medical Terminology knowledge preferred.
• Holds and maintains an active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
