Job Description

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine is currently recruiting a full-time physician for the Division of Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology. The Division is seeking an experienced physician who is highly motivated, forward thinking and passionate about advancing the field of women’s health and who are committed to an academic career in general obstetrics and gynecology. Responsibilities include direct clinical care and research, as well as teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Responsibilities

The ability to apply creativity to program growth and development in service of these missions is highly desirable, as is the ability to work collaboratively. Candidates should be comfortable in providing a broad spectrum of obstetrical and gynecologic care, including gynecologic surgery, to medically complex patients. Focus areas of special interest in women’s health care are encouraged and supported.

Requirements

  • Board eligible/certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and eligible for a Florida Medical License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Board eligible/certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and eligible for a Florida Medical License
  • Terminal doctoral degree in a clinical science such as MD or DO degree
  • Additional educational degrees such as an MBA, MPH are encouraged to apply

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
