About the role
The MIGS faculty member will contribute to the division’s missions of complex gynecologic surgery, patient care, education, research, and clinical innovation.
Responsibilities
- Providing advanced laparoscopic, robotic, hysteroscopic, and office-based MIGS care
- Managing complex endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, uterine fibroids, infertility-associated pathology, and surgical complications
- Teaching and supervision of residents and medical students, with future involvement in fellowship teaching
- Participating in departmental and hospital committees, quality initiatives, and multidisciplinary conferences
- Contributing to scholarly work, clinical trials, AI-driven analytics, surgical outcomes research, and innovation projects
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to expand programs in pelvic pain, deep endometriosis, uterine fibroids, surgical outcomes, and digital health
Requirements
- Medical Degree or equivalent, active or eligible Florida medical license, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) board certified or eligible
- Completion of an approved fellowship in MIGS
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements: Medical Degree or equivalent, active or eligible Florida medical license, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) board certified or eligible. Completion of an approved fellowship in MIGS.
- Preferred Fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (FMIGS)
- Demonstrated excellence in complex laparoscopic and robotic surgery
- Experience with endometriosis care, pelvic pain management, multidisciplinary coordination, uterine fibroids and fertility-sparing care
- Evidence of scholarly productivity, clinical research involvement, or program-building
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
