It addresses challenges in healthcare access and equity through technology-driven solutions that support individuals and communities at scale.About the OpportunityThe Clinical Administrative Coordinator supports efficient healthcare operations and member satisfaction by managing administrative interactions and coordinating clinical and insurance information. This role conducts outbound benefit verification calls, updates electronic records, researches member information, and maintains accurate documentation while following established procedures and confidentiality requirements.Responsibilities• Conduct outbound calls to insurance providers to verify member benefit details.• Access and update electronic member files using policy or identification numbers.• Follow established protocols to route requests and assign appropriate tasks.• Review call histories, case notes, and related member information.• Navigate multiple computer systems to research medical, clinical, and benefits information.• Incorporate system updates and process changes into daily workflows.• Collaborate with internal resources to resolve information requests and discrepancies.• Document call histories, medical requests, and related information accurately.• Scan and attach documents to the appropriate patient records.• Participate in team and branch meetings.• Perform additional duties as assigned.Requirements• High school diploma or GED.• Minimum age of 18 years.• At least 1 year of customer service experience.• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.• Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday with flexibility to cover shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM CST.• Availability to work a rotating Saturday shift approximately once every three months.• Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed.• Ability to maintain confidentiality and securely handle sensitive information and documents while working remotely.• Dedicated, private workspace with reliable high-speed internet.Preferred Qualifications• Experience in clerical or administrative support.• Experience working in a hospital, physician’s office, medical clinic, or similar healthcare environment.• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.• Experience with prior authorization and benefit verification.• Familiarity with healthcare operations and insurance processes.Pay Range and Compensation Package• Hourly pay range of $18.00 to $32.00 based on full-time employment.• Compensation varies based on factors including local labor market conditions, education, experience, and certifications.• Comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase opportunities, and 401(k) contributions, subject to eligibility.
