About the Role

A Clinic Registered Nurse develops and implements nursing care plans. Administers nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. Provides telephone advice to patients on health concerns and disease prevention under the direction of providers. Performs administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, sending and requesting medical records, and completing prior authorizations and referral requests. Conducts clinical duties including taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, collecting laboratory samples and performing tests, administering medications and immunizations.

Requirements

• Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or NLN approved program
• Required: 6 months of prior experience as a Registered Nurse, or prior experience as a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse in an outpatient or ambulatory clinic setting
