Responsibilities

• Greet patient/families and process patient registrations
• Obtain accurate patient demographics and insurance information
• Obtain necessary consents
• Serve as the initial point of contact for patients
• Explain patient account charges, insurance verification
• Direct and schedule patients and visitors
• Transfer incoming phone calls to appropriate clinic staff and physicians
• Serve as a liaison between patient and medical support staff
• Organize and coordinate requests to Provider’s inbox
• Complete medical records requests

General Requirements

• Training: Effective communication skills, medical terminology
• Preferred: Basic Life Support; Medical Office Procedures

Education

• High school graduation or equivalent
