Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinic operations and staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Support patient care by providing guidance, resolving issues, and maintaining smooth workflows.
- Interview and evaluate staff, manage resources, and step in as leader when management is absent.
- Manage daily workflow, staff schedules, and approve time in the payroll system.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and annual performance evaluations.
- Delegate work effectively and provide leadership to ensure results.
- Train, educate, and evaluate staff.
- Resolve employee issues and administer discipline with HR assistance.
- Implement programs to improve patient flow and clinical efficiency.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Experience: Strong leadership qualities, initiative in a healthcare setting, and experience in medical practice operations within a clinic, hospital, or healthcare environment. Orthopedic experience strongly preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of medical terminology; proficient in computer applications and adaptable to learning new software systems.
- Licenses/Certifications: Active clinical license or certification (e.g., LPN, ATC, MA, RT) required; all licensing or certifications must be current and active in Ohio. BLS certification required.
