About the role

The Clinic Nurse Manager is accountable for the quality of patient care, operations, and human resources management for assigned areas. They lead the provision of safe patient care, aligning with professional standards and hospital policies. The Manager fosters a positive environment, supervises staff, manages resources, and drives business development.

Responsibilities

• Directs nursing practice, education, and services
• Serves as a personal contact for physicians, staff, and outside departments
• Manages clinical operations of transplant programs
• Oversees patient care programs and reviews their effectiveness
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
• Monitors and evaluates the quality of patient care
• Develops and implements administrative policies and procedures
• Maintains security-related procedures and collaborates with public safety
• Communicates information, assignments, priorities, and special requests to staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• 5+ years of experience in managing clinical operations in a healthcare setting
• Excellent people management skills
• Ability to motivate and challenge staff
• Good decision-making skills
• High frustration and ambiguity tolerance
• Ability to bridge administrative demands and clinical needs
• High skill and experience in process improvement

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license from the CA Board of Registered Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association
• Fire Life Safety Training from LA City (if applicable)
