Clinic Administrative Supervisor, General Surgery
About the role
Serve as the primary supervisor for the assigned work unit, overseeing daily operations, personnel management, facility, supplies, and equipment maintenance. Manage quality of care and service delivery processes including patient registration and scheduling. Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and customer service standards through participation in safety systems, DMS, and policy management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations and staff management
- Facilitate quality of care and service delivery processes
- Contribute to safety systems, DMS, and policy management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and customer service standards
- Participate in the implementation of various process improvement goals and projects
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- At least two years of experience in a similar supervisory role
- Minimum of two years of experience in health care
- Current Admission Services Coordinator/Family Service Coordinator/Surgery Coordinator, or similar experience
Qualifications
- Preferred: Experience working in an emergency or ambulatory department of a hospital or medical center
- Preferred: Experience working in a call center/contact center
- Preferred: Experience working in a pediatric and/or academic medical setting
- Preferred: Experience managing a culturally diverse staff
Skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
