Clinic Supervisor (GYN/OB)

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor for the White Marsh Gyn/Ob practice. The role involves overseeing clinic operations, managing administrative staff, and improving patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the White Marsh Gyn/Ob practice.
• Works with administrative, nursing leadership, and physician leadership to establish protocols and procedures.
• Manages the process for maintaining adequate administrative staff.
• Serves as Epic Super-user for EMR troubleshooting and process change/enhancements for staff and providers.
• Maintains working knowledge of billing, claims processing, and insurance carrier requirements.
• Ensures the clinic complies with Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory agencies' standards.
• Orders office supplies, medical equipment, and furniture via SAP.
• Provides direct support for Patient Services Coordinators (PSCs) when staffing is decreased.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• High school diploma or GED (equivalent)
• Five years of experience in a health care setting involving customer service
• Supervisor experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of changing reimbursement policies and third-party reimbursement
• Comprehensive understanding of medical and insurance terminology
• Working knowledge of value-based purchasing and meaningful use criteria
• Working knowledge of Medical Terminology insurance required

The Clinic Manager should have a strong personal and professional commitment to quality patient care and service excellence. Strong communications skills and demonstrated leadership ability are prerequisites for this position.
