Clinic Administrative Assistant

About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative assistance and clerical support to ensure cost-effective operations, optimal communication, and effective management of the clinic within the PACE Organization (PO). This role involves problem-solving, independent work, and assistance with special projects, as well as performing clinical tasks and blood draws.
Responsibilities
- Perform clerical tasks for the clinic.
- Assist and track orders for supplies and equipment for the clinic and support areas.
- Perform clinical tasks and blood draws as a certified phlebotomist.
- Schedule clinic appointments, in-house x-rays/ultrasounds, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Schedule and coordinate all assessments for new participants.
- Maintain clinic flow in the waiting room and exam rooms.
- Answer telephone calls, check voicemails, and provide follow-up as needed.
- Prepare participants for appointments with providers.
- Train new colleagues in the clinic.
- Clean and set up exam rooms.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- One (1) to three (3) years of progressive secretarial experience supporting management and multiple positions. A combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
- Experience in data entry and scheduling preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Strong Excel skills are critical.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to adapt to change, manage and prioritize work, and pay attention to detail.

Schedule
Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (No nights, holidays, or weekends).
