Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate 1:1, 1:2 and small group instruction while meeting the needs of complex learners.
- All academic, behavioral and functional skill instruction.
- Generalization and maintenance across the school day.
- Implement and follow individualized lesson plans, Positive Behavior Support Plans and/or Individualized Crisis Behavior Management Plans.
- Collect individualized and group data across the school day.
- Support and teach students using Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools (TCIS) across the school day.
- Affirmative role in classroom management and student support.
- Assist with setup of classroom, individual student area and preparation of materials for specialized instruction.
- Adherence to safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Eligible for BHP Certification.
