About the Role

Ligo Care provides a range of direct support services to help with everyday life, caregiving, household needs, companionship, and respite. You decide who comes into your home and when, giving you more control and better care.

Supports We Provide

• Daily Support at Home and in the Community: Help with personal care, routines, independence, safety, community activities, and other everyday needs.
• Paid Family Caregiving: Approved parents, guardians, and spouses may be able to be paid for providing certain caregiving services.
• Household Help: Help with meals, laundry, light housekeeping, and other approved household tasks.
• Companionship Support: Support with social activities, community participation, and spending meaningful time with others.
• Respite Care: Short-term or overnight care that gives a regular caregiver time away from caregiving responsibilities.
• Individual Day Services (Coming Soon): One-on-one daytime support focused on independence, skill-building, and meaningful community participation.
• New Choices Waiver Services: Personal Attendant Services, Community Living Services, Homemaker Services, Chore Provider Services.

How It Works

• Sign up online in minutes: Tell us about yourself and the person you care for. Takes about 5 minutes.
• We contact your support coordinator: We handle the paperwork to switch your benefits over. You don’t have to.
• Download the app — we’ll walk you through it: Onboarding takes about 30 minutes. We’re with you the whole way.

Requirements

• Select Ligo Care as your Direct Service Provider. Sign up here and we’ll connect with your support coordinator.
• Invite Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) you want on your team. We only hire people you recommend. Invite the people you already know and love — we’ll train them and pay them.
• Smartphone: An Apple or Android phone with an updated operating system and a data plan.
• Qualify for DSPD/Medicaid Direct Service Benefits. We don’t currently cover Elder Care, Hospice, Veteran Benefits, or Private Pay.
• Utah Clients: We provide services in Utah but will be expanding to other states soon.
• Use the Ligo Care app to manage schedules, select your DSP team, check budget balances, and read shift notes.
