About Your Role
As a successful Client Support Specialist, you will resolve complex application and configuration issues for Premier clients by investigating production support cases and driving them through resolution. You will work across support and partner teams to troubleshoot issues, document root cause analysis, and maintain clear client communication. Your work helps deliver reliable system performance and a consistent client experience.
What You'll Do
- Respond to, investigate, and resolve production application issues by following documented procedures and established support workflows
- Analyze product configurations and system settings to identify issues and improve application performance or functionality
- Escalate issues to the appropriate support or technical teams when needed to meet service level targets for quality and timeliness
- Document support cases, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and root cause findings for operational reporting and knowledge sharing
- Prioritize case volume based on client impact and urgency while maintaining clear communication and managing client expectations
- Collaborate with internal teams to address recurring issues and support continuous improvement in service delivery
Experience You'll Need To Have
- 4+ years of experience in client support, technical support, or production application support within a business or technology environment
- 4+ years of experience troubleshooting application issues, configuration issues, or system-related incidents using documented support processes
- Experience documenting issue resolution, root cause analysis, and case activity for operational reporting and service tracking
- Experience working assigned schedules, including on-call support during non-standard and overnight hours on a rotational basis
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience
Experience That Would Be Great To Have
- Experience supporting clients in a bank, credit union, or other financial institution
- Experience working with Premier or similar financial services platforms
- Experience analyzing configuration settings to improve product performance or functionality
- Experience supporting production issues in a case management or ticketing environment
How You'll Work
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
- You will work an assigned schedule that requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis.
