Client Support Specialist
About the role
Family Centers School-Based Health Centers (SBHC) are located in nine public schools in Stamford and Greenwich and operate much like a small doctor’s or therapist's office. The centers are open during regular school hours and select sites may also be open during school holidays and summer vacations. The clinics offer medical, mental health, health education, and dental services to adolescent students. Our goal is to keep your child healthy, happy, and in school by providing timely health care — without having to leave school.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include recordkeeping, collecting data, scheduling appointments, and establishing positive rapport with the students, nurse practitioner, social worker, dentist, and school staff while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Three plus years' experience
- Strong computer skills (proficiency with Microsoft Office)
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to relate effectively to children and adolescents
- Friendly, service-oriented personality
Preferred qualifications include: Bilingual (English/Spanish), Prior experience working in a medical office setting, Proficiency with EPIC
