About the Role
The Client Services Specialist serves as the key point of contact for assigned clients throughout the annual Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting process. This role provides overall project management, including proactive communication and delivery of services to support the annual reporting process. The position is extremely client-focused, requiring mature judgment, communication proficiency, and the ability to identify and resolve issues while delivering the highest level of customer service. Superior communication, writing, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a commitment to teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time, handle multiple priorities, and work independently.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships as a liaison with clients and Lumelight team members.
- Manage and monitor client accounts to ensure timely receipt of all records and information required for service delivery.
- Collect and analyze data for accuracy while monitoring client engagement and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with clients and team members.
- Identify problems or issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure on-time and accurate reporting to meet contractual requirements and client expectations.
- Maintain current working knowledge of benefit laws and regulations, specifically those tied to the Affordable Care Act.
- Represent the Lumelight Team when interacting with brokers/clients.
- Provide quality control for ACA reporting clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- College degree and/or two to four years of client-facing work experience requiring consistent customer service skills.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and comfort using Microsoft Windows PCs.
- Preferred: Knowledge of principles and practices of employee benefits compliance.
- Preferred: Working knowledge of federal laws and regulations and government report preparation.
- Preferred: Industry experience related to Lumelight’s business or customer needs.

Work Environment
This is a remote position within approved Lumelight states. The role operates in a professional office environment, whether in person or remotely, and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Equipment will be provided.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, following an agreed-upon schedule. Extended hours and/or weekends may be required during the busiest ACA reporting season, primarily in the first quarter of the calendar year.
