About the role

We are seeking a contract Client Services Administrator to join our dynamic Shareholder Communication team. In this role, you will answer shareholder inquiries made in writing or via email, perform account maintenance updates, draft responses for escalated shareholder inquiries on behalf of the management team, and form letters advising shareholders of additional information needed to complete certain requests. You will perform daily duties within guidelines set by supervisors, management, and regulatory bodies such as the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) and STA (Securities Transfer Association). This is a temporary, contract role expected to last approximately 12 months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.

Responsibilities

  • Research items including transfer reject processing, status follow-up, lost certificate applications, corporate action follow-up, replacement check inquiries, and updating 1099s, W8s, and W9s
  • Complete client, shareholder, and co-worker initiated correspondence research items, including identifying the root cause and reporting on the solution for each case
  • Draft free-hand responses to inquiries or possible critical issues
  • Make recommendations for form and process improvements
  • Perform other duties or responsibilities as needed or assigned
  • Ensure work respects client privacy, accuracy, speed, and dependability

Requirements

  • Very detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills
  • Solid writing skills (willingness to submit a writing sample)
  • Ability to think critically, interpret requests, and identify errors
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • High attention to detail and quality control; reviews work before sending
  • General typing and computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple persons or groups to build satisfactory responses to shareholder inquiries

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary, including relevant experience, skills, and education.
