Job Summary

The Client Service Supervisor (CSS) at BluePearl Pet Hospital is responsible for guiding the Client Services Team (CST) and managing their activities under the direction of the Client Services Manager (CSM). Key responsibilities include communication between Client Services and other departments, scheduling staff, and providing feedback to managers.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate between Client Services and all areas of the hospital to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Provide management coverage for the CS department during shifts to ensure services are seamless.
  • Plan, monitor, and ensure completion of the initial training program for new Client Service associates.
  • Schedule Client Service associates to ensure sufficient staffing to meet client needs.
  • Offer feedback to co-managers to identify issues causing dissatisfaction among clients.
  • Communicate with Client Service associates, both individually and in groups, to ensure consistent understanding of new ideas and ongoing communication.
  • Coach associates to anticipate and address client service issues proactively and seek assistance for escalated situations.
  • Plan and execute regularly scheduled team meetings.
  • Seek new ways to improve client service through ongoing training and feedback from various sources.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to discuss concerns and questions about services.

  • Experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, associates, and management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build successful teams.

Pay & Schedule

  • Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
  • Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour shifts.
