Client Service Representative
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our team at VCA Beavercreek Animal Hospital. Our mission is to prioritize your pet’s health and provide excellent service, and we look for a personable yet professional representative to help us achieve this.
Responsibilities
- Greeting visitors and answering telephones
- Guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients
- Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments
- Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions
- Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care
- Maintaining medical records, charts, reports and correspondence
- Managing hospital maintenance and ensuring the facility is neat and clean
Requirements
Must have strong communication skills, be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and possess a friendly demeanor. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a veterinary setting is a plus.
Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to multitask, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
