Client Service Representative
About the role

Responsibilities
- Greeting visitors and answering telephones
- Guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients
- Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments
- Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions
- Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control)
- Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence
- Ensuring the facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask. Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Skills
Strong customer service skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and proficiency with computers and databases are essential.

Pay
Pay ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 an hour based on experience.
