Client Service Representative
About the role
VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Client Service Representative to join our team. Located at 4871 Summit Ridge Drive, Reno NV 89523, with easy access off Interstate 80 and N. McCarran, the position offers a competitive salary range of $18-$21 per hour and a full-time schedule of 30+ hours.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and answer telephones
- Text clients for follow-ups and medication reminders
- Guide clients and their pets to exam rooms
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Present and explain fees, process payments
- Manage and acquire medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence
- Lift up to 40 lbs and assist with animal care as needed
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hospital, both inside and out
Requirements
The ideal candidate must be personable, highly professional, and able to lift up to 40 lbs. They should have excellent communication skills and be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to multitask, and have a positive attitude. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
