About the role
Companion Animal Hospital in Hillsboro is currently looking for an individual to join our team in a fast paced, fun small animal practice. We are a full service, 5 DVM, AAHA accredited hospital with many of the latest technologies to provide excellent medical and surgical service to our patients. These include digital radiology, a dentistry unit and dental x-ray, ultrasound, surgical and therapeutic laser.
Responsibilities
- Handle multiple phone lines, scheduling, record keeping, filling of medications, client interactions and office work
- Work well within a team and independently
- Take initiative and connect and bond with clients and patients
- Be organized and able to manage multiple tasks
Requirements
- Extremely detail oriented
- Positive, professional attitude
- Ability to work well with other team members
- Previous experience in the veterinary field is preferred, but not required
Schedule
- Part-time: 24–29 hrs/wk
- Full-time: 30–40 hrs/wk
- Could include some weekends once the hospital re-opens on those days
