About the role
The Client Service Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional client care and ensuring smooth front-desk operations in a fast-paced specialty and emergency environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
- Provide reassurance and clear communication during stressful situations
- Schedule appointments and coordinate procedures
- Manage and maintain the hospital calendar
- Answer multi-line phones and respond to emails
- Provide accurate information about hospital services
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
- Process check-in/check-out paperwork
- Calculate fees, process payments, and assist with invoicing
- Communicate effectively with doctors and clinical staff
- Support smooth daily hospital operations
- Remain calm during emergency presentations
- Direct clients appropriately and support workflow needs
- Schedule full-time 4/10 schedule available
- Weekend and some holiday availability required

Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1+ years of customer service experience (veterinary experience strongly preferred)
- 1+ years of hospitality experience creating a welcoming client environment
- Creditable and reliable data entry skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Typing speed of 45+ WPM
- Proficient use of a 10-key calculator
