This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional seeking hands-on experience in financial services, focusing on client service, account administration, and financial-planning processes—no sales or cold-calling involved.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client questions and service requests
- Communicate with clients professionally by phone, email, and in person
- Assist clients with account paperwork, forms, and follow-up items
- Prepare and process new-account applications and onboarding documents
- Support account-maintenance requests, including transfers, distributions, and beneficiary changes
- Coordinate client meetings and prepare materials for advisor appointments
- Track outstanding client action items and ensure timely follow-up
- Maintain accurate client information in CRM and custodial systems
- Prepare client reports, financial-planning materials, and portfolio-review documents
- Communicate with custodians, third-party providers, and internal support teams
- Maintain organized digital and physical client files
- Support compliance documentation, audits, and reporting requests
- Help improve administrative processes and client-service workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting, communications, or a related field
- Previous financial-services, banking, investment, insurance, or professional client-service experience is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer-service and relationship-building skills
- Professional, polished, and dependable approach
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines, and follow-up items
- Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday
