About the role
Strand & Associates, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Client Service Associate. This role offers a mix of client-facing responsibilities and behind-the-scenes financial planning support, ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and excited to contribute to a growing practice.
Responsibilities
- Proactively schedule and coordinate meetings with clients. Manage advisor calendars and meeting logistics.
- Provide prompt, professional communication and service to clients.
- Help clients gather and organize information and documentation ahead of meetings.
- Coordinate with advisors on meeting preparation and follow-up actions. Complete post-meeting tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage task lists, calendars, and workflow priorities.
- Process forms, applications, account maintenance requests, and money movement transactions promptly and accurately.
- Manage client records, maintain CRM system, and provide additional client support as needed.
- Prepare client correspondence, appreciation notes, and other communications.
- Maintain timely communication with clients and team members. Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Partner with advisors and team members to deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Assist with operational initiatives and special projects as needed.
- Contribute to efficient office operations and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred.
- Knowledge of client relationship management (CRM) systems preferred.
- Familiarity with financial planning software such as MoneyGuide and/or Ameriprise systems is a plus.

Schedule
This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule. Team members generally work in our Minnetonka office 2–3 days per week.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $55,000–$65,000 per year.
