About the role

The Client Programs Intern supports the Client Programs team by assisting with project coordination, client communications, program administration, reporting and operational activities. This internship provides hands-on experience working within a client-focused environment, helping to drive program success while developing professional skills in project management, customer service and business operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist Client Programs Team with the coordination and execution of client initiatives and projects.
  • Support program administration activities, including tracking deliverables, maintaining documentation, and updating project records.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting materials for internal and client-facing discussions.
  • Monitor project timelines and assist with follow-up actions to help ensure commitments are completed on schedule.
  • Participate in team meetings and document meeting notes, action items, and key decisions.
  • Conduct research and gather data to support client programs, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Assist with client communications, including scheduling meetings and agenda creation.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to client programs and activities.
  • Support the development of process documentation, training materials, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client satisfaction and program objectives.
  • Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned.
  • Identify and escalate program risks.
  • Meet regularly with Client Program Managers to discuss program progress and brainstorm new ways to improve program delivery.
  • Quickly and effectively communicate engagement changes, updates or problems.
  • Embody NCM's mission, vision and values.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Project Management, Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred:

  • Previous internship, volunteer, leadership, event management or customer service experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Monday.com or other project management tools.
  • Interest in client services, program management, operations, or business consulting.
