Client Partner - Life Sciences
About the role
The successful candidate will lead revenue generation efforts, manage profitability of assigned New York regional accounts, and drive growth and maturity of Slalom's offerings. They will oversee and govern all sold/managed engagements, facilitate client satisfaction surveys, and participate in local, regional, and global strategy initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Direct revenue responsibility of $6MM+
- Responsible for profitability of assigned New York regional accounts (revenue and utilization goals)
- Seek opportunities for growth/maturation of Slalom offerings
- Drive business development with the proper information (creation of SOW, RFP responses), tools and subject matter expertise to sell engagements within the vertical
- Develop & deliver best practices, delivery templates, POV papers
- Maintain awareness of industry best practices and business levers for a particular client list
- Facilitate client satisfaction surveys (where applicable)
- Involvement with local, regional, and global strategy initiatives
Requirements
10+ years of management/leadership experience; at least 8 from large scale consulting and/or professional services
Sophisticated project delivery experience including all aspects of project/program management
Deep industry experience in either manufacturing, public sector, or financial services & insurance
Excellent negotiation, ability to work through adversity problem solving & decision-making skills
Consistent track record of client/employee satisfaction
Qualifications
Must be based in the Greater New York area
Must be willing to work onsite with clients about 3x per week
Skills

Experience with project management methodologies

Pay
The targeted base salary pay range for this Director role is $200k to $235k. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
Schedule
This is not a fully remote role. Candidates will be required to be onsite with clients about 3x per week.
