CGI is seeking an experienced, high-performing Client Partner with deep Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) domain expertise to drive growth across strategic accounts and expand CGI's presence in the New England healthcare market. This role is based in Metro Boston, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute growth strategies for strategic Healthcare & Life Sciences accounts, identifying whitespace, penetrating new business units and buying centers, and systematically increasing revenue, bookings, and qualified pipeline.
- Identify and pursue high-potential new healthcare clients, leveraging industry relationships and market knowledge to open doors and establish new logos for CGI.
- Build, deepen, and sustain relationships with C-suite and senior business and technology executives, positioning CGI as a trusted advisor and strategic transformation partner.
- Proactively identify and shape large, strategic opportunities rather than relying primarily on client-issued RFPs, engaging executives early to understand their business priorities and jointly develop transformation initiatives with compelling business cases.
- Bring strong knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem, particularly health plans/payers, and translate industry trends, regulatory developments, technology disruption, and client challenges into business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline across both existing accounts and prospective new logos, with particular emphasis on large proactive opportunities.
- Lead major pursuits from initial opportunity identification and qualification through solution shaping, commercial strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and closure.
- Collaborate with CGI business leaders, solution architects, SMEs, delivery teams, and partners to develop differentiated propositions addressing complex healthcare business and technology challenges.
- Bring the best of CGI to clients by connecting capabilities across consulting, managed services, digital transformation, data and AI, cloud, cybersecurity, application modernization, and CGI intellectual property.
Requirements
- Significant experience in Client Partner, Account Management, Business Development, or Strategic Sales roles within Healthcare & Life Sciences.
- Strong Healthcare & Life Sciences domain expertise, preferably with substantial experience in the health plan/payer segment.
- Proven track record of farming and significantly growing large strategic accounts, including identifying whitespace and expanding into new functions, business units, and buying centers.
- Demonstrated success in opening new logos, developing senior relationships from the ground up, and converting prospective clients into meaningful long-term accounts.
- Strong network within the healthcare ecosystem and demonstrated ability to gain access to CXO and senior decision-makers.
- Proven ability to establish trusted advisor relationships with senior client executives and engage them around their strategic business and technology agendas.
- Strong track record of proactively originating, shaping, and closing large, complex technology, consulting, transformation, and/or managed services deals.
- Ability to create opportunities ahead of formal procurement cycles rather than depending primarily on RFP-driven pursuits.
- Experience orchestrating multidisciplinary teams to develop compelling solutions, value propositions, commercial constructs, and winning deal strategies.
- Strong understanding of healthcare technology priorities including digital transformation, data and AI, cloud modernization, cybersecurity, application modernization, operational transformation, member experience, and cost optimization.
- Strong executive presence, communication, negotiation, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management capabilities.
