Job Summary

The Business Solutions Client Onboarding Specialist I manages the initial relationship and onboarding of new employee benefit groups, ensuring customer satisfaction and quality execution of tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Complete tactile tasks and assigned work duties to drive organizational success.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
  • Work independently on projects, demonstrating reliability, accountability, and independence.
  • Manage time effectively, providing a customer-focused approach and proactive problem-solving.
  • Handle sensitive group accounts and prioritize inquiries received by phone, fax, electronically, or mail.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and ensure a smooth transition to the appropriate Account Management team.

Performance Outcomes

  • Review and maintain LegalShield Group Accounts.
  • Develop onboarding schedules and timelines.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Provide frequent status and progress reports electronically and verbally.
  • Ensure appropriate and accurate system and contractual set-up.
  • Review enrollment, payment history, and billing invoices to support LegalShield groups, Associates, and group members.
  • Review client account at various stages to ensure all parties meet necessary deadlines.
  • Handle inquiries received by phone, fax, electronically, or mail.

Education, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Two years of experience performing customer service.
  • Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Good typing and 10-key skills required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective phone and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact with users, peers, managers, and vendors.
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines, provide a detailed-oriented, analytical, and organized approach.
  • Positive professional attitude, ability to work as a part of a team or individually.
  • Ability to work under pressure and quickly adapt to change.
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative and problem-solving mindset.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Professional office environment.
  • Uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
  • Regularly uses hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Sit, stand, talk, and hear frequently.
  • Can work at the computer or other sedentary tasks for extended periods.
  • Conducts duties discreetly and impartially.
  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality with the ability to work on critical business days as deemed necessary, including some evenings and weekends to ensure all business is processed.
  • No travel required for this position.
