Position Overview

The Client Invoicing Specialist will play a key role in the client invoicing function of the firm by preparing invoices for all clients and ensuring that the invoices are distributed within 30 days of the billing period. This person will report to the Revenue Manager and work closely with the rest of the Corporate Accounting Team as well as key stakeholders in the Operations, Marketing, Performance and Client Service groups.

What You’ll Do

  • Aid with the monthly and quarterly billing process, ensuring that invoices are calculated accurately and delivered in a timely manner;
  • Cook with other departments to respond to billing inquiries and ad-hoc requests from internal and external clients;
  • Aid with reporting deliverables;
  • Calculate monthly and quarterly fee rebates and consultant revenue for the client service team;
  • Update and maintain various databases containing revenue, asset, and fee information;
  • Aid with the annual audit work related to client invoicing;
  • Help to calculate commission amounts for internal sales team for monthly accrual and quarterly payment;
  • Review commingled fund participant fee documentation for approval;
  • Research client history and provide historical data when needed;
  • Document and maintain all procedures within the invoicing area; Identify and recommend process improvements and areas for potential automation to enhance productivity and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field;
  • Minimum 3 years of invoicing experience from an investment advisory or financial services firm;
  • Experience using AI tooling (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to generate solutions to solve problems;
  • Proficient in Excel and experienced in managing large databases;
  • Experience with foreign currency translation;
  • Working knowledge of industry terminology (i.e. high water marks);
  • Detail oriented and well organized; Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team

Pay

The base salary range for this role is $80,000 – $90,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
