Client Insights Director (Hybrid: Reston, VA)

About the role

This is a hybrid role, on-site in Reston, VA approximately 3 days a week. Circana is a leading provider of technology, AI, and data solutions for consumer packaged goods companies, manufacturers, and retailers. Our predictive analytics and Liquid Data® platform help clients measure market share, uncover consumer behavior, and drive growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our client partners and internal teams to maximize and apply insights gleaned from Circana data, including but not limited to retailer level purchase dynamics, household purchase behavior, internal and external business reviews, and other custom projects.
• Deliver insight-led solutions that translate complex data into actionable insights to help clients make informed decisions and achieve measurable outcomes.
• Partner with internal teams (e.g., Client Insights, Product, and Analytics) to deliver integrated solutions and ensure client success.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations, including decision-makers and influencers.
• Leverage Circana’s proprietary platforms (e.g., Unify+, Liquid Data, Intelligence Suite) to support client engagements and solution delivery.
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals through disciplined pipeline management and strategic account planning.
• Ensure client satisfaction by proactively addressing challenges, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering consistent value.
• Provide market feedback to internal teams to help refine offerings and contribute to product development.
• Champion client success by ensuring client satisfaction and proactively addressing challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in CPG insights, analytics, category management, consulting, or related fields.
• Experience with syndicated data, analytics, category management, or related fields.
• Marketing and/or sales with a premier Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company or other companies using syndicated or POS data.
• Demonstrated expertise in translating data and analysis into relevant implications.
• Strong project management and process skills.
• Able to engage in a consultative manner with clients when helping solve/manage content deliverables.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $125,000 to $140,000 USD. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

Schedule

This position can be located in Reston, VA (on-site approximately 3 days a week).
