Client Communications Specialist (CCS) - REMOTE POSITION

About the role
The Client Communications Specialist plays a crucial role in managing communications between clients, patients, staff, and referring veterinarians. This position ensures efficient scheduling and triage of appointments and calls, directly impacting the quality of service and care coordination within the veterinary specialty services.
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments for various Specialty Services using the Cornerstone system
- Triage urgent calls efficiently and effectively
- Process referral calls from outside veterinarians and clients
- Answer phones and direct calls appropriately
- Respond to internal and external clients respectfully and thoroughly
- Provide clients with status updates and patient information
- Maintain attention to detail while multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of veterinary medical office experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Cornerstone EMR system, and Alcatel-Lucent Phone system
- Typing speed of 40+ words per minute
- Ability to provide consistent, exceptional customer service
- Pleasant speaking voice
- Articulate, dependable, hardworking, compassionate, and flexible with scheduling
- Experience working in detail-oriented environments
Pay
$19 to $24 USD per hour based on experience and skills.
