  • About the role

    A Client Care Specialist 2 (CCS2) contributes to AHF by presenting a friendly, helpful face to members seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment in our Wellness Clinics. A CCS2 is a hybrid role providing courteous, confidential, and professional support to members within wellness programs. A CCS2 enhances the reputation of AHF by embodying our commitment to excellence in patient care, patient retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability. With a versatile skill set and dedication to seamlessly transitioning between clinical, administrative, and front office roles, CCS2s contribute to a positive experience, fostering trust and loyalty. You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure AHF Core Values and Mission are top of mind with all actions
    • Work as part of a close-knit team to focus on comprehensive patient care
    • Collect medical histories
    • Manage tests/screenings
    • Record vitals
    • Address health complaints
    • Facilitate patient registration
    • Manage appointments
    • Create electronic charts
    • Document data, including referrals and reports

    Requirements

    • Valid phlebotomy license or medical assistant certificate
    • Skills in venipuncture and sample collection, including blood and other specimens, preparing them for laboratory analysis

    Qualifications

    To be successful as a CCS2, it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The CCS2 will work as a part of a close-knit team to focus on comprehensive patient care by collecting medical histories, managing tests/screenings, recording vitals, and addressing health complaints. They will facilitate patient registration, appointment management, and electronic chart creation. The role requires proficiency in data documentation, including referrals and reports.
