About the role

A Client Care Specialist 2 MTU contributes to AHF by presenting a friendly, helpful face to members seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment on our Mobile Unit. A CCS2 for Mobile is a role providing courteous, confidential, and professional support to members within our MTU programs. A CCS2 MTU enhances the reputation of AHF by embodying our commitment to excellence in patient care, patient retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Present a friendly, helpful face to members seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment on our Mobile Unit.
• Facilitate patient registration, appointment management, and electronic chart creation.
• Collect medical histories, manage tests/screenings, record vitals, and address health complaints.
• Ensure proficiency in data documentation, including referrals and reports.
• Manage venipuncture and sample collection, including blood and other specimens, preparing them for laboratory analysis.
• Work as a part of a close-knit team to focus on comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure adherence to AHF Core Values and Mission in all activities.
• Adapt to a dynamic environment to provide the best experience for clients and workplace for employees.

Requirements

• A valid phlebotomy license or medical assistant certificate.
• Proficient in Spanish is a plus.

Schedule

• Varies based on need of sites and events.
• Rotating schedule of days and nights to include weekends.
• Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 10:00am- 6:30pm
• Wednesday: 11:30am-8:30pm
• Saturday: 8:30am-4:30pm
