About the role

Patrick Hyundai in Schaumburg is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Automotive Sales Consultant to join their team. This position offers a commission-based pay plan ranging from $65,000 to $120,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Guide prospective buyers from initial contact through vehicle delivery
• Greet and assist customers with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles
• Conduct test drives and explain vehicle features and benefits
• Negotiate pricing and terms of sale
• Complete accurate sales documentation
• Follow up post-sale to ensure customer satisfaction
• Stay informed on industry trends and dealership promotions
• Maintain monthly sales targets and contribute to team success
• Comply with company policies and safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive sales or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Detail-oriented and driven to succeed
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 19 years or older
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (licensed for at least 3 years)
• Willingness to undergo a drug screen and background check
