About the role
The Client Accounting Services (CAS) Department Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the CAS department, ensuring efficient and accurate financial reporting and client service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial operations of the CAS department, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Manage a team of accountants and support staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and policies.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless client service and financial accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access.
Qualifications
- CPA certification preferred.
- Experience with financial systems and software.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
