About the role
The Client Accounting Services (CAS) Department Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the CAS department, ensuring efficient financial management and service delivery to clients.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial operations of the CAS department, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Manage a team of accountants and support staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
- Proven leadership and management experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Experience with financial systems and software.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Financial analysis and reporting.
- Team management and leadership.
- Client relationship management.
- Financial planning and budgeting.
- Project management.
