About the role
The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is dedicated to creating, in partnership with others, innovative and genuine opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities to participate fully and meaningfully in, and contribute to, their communities as valued members. The DDS North Central Area Office seeks a motivated and organized Clerk IV to maintain the reception area, provide clerical support for HCSIS Stage I and Stage II investigations, and manage data entry and correspondence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the reception area, including handling incoming phone calls and mail.
- Provide clerical support for HCSIS Stage I and Stage II investigations, including data entry and correspondence.
- Make changes in HCSIS and HUB Systems, including ISPs, POCs, and LOCs.
- Run regular reports as requested by the Area Director, Assistant Area Director, and SC Supervisors, including ISPs, POCs, Waiver, and Caseload Lists.
- Maintain tracking systems for Safety Plans and Monthly Site Visits.
Requirements
- At least three years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience in office work.
- OR an equivalent combination of experience and the following substitutions:
- A diploma from a commercial or business high school or vocational/technical high school may substitute for up to one year of required experience.
- A high school equivalency certificate or non-commercial high school diploma may substitute for up to eight months of required experience.
- A one-year, full-time (or equivalent part-time) program from a recognized business or secretarial school may substitute for up to one year of required experience.
- A two-year, full-time (or equivalent part-time) program from a recognized business or secretarial school may substitute for up to two years of required experience.
Qualifications
- Organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Knowledge of clerical office practices, including correspondence and office equipment usage.
Schedule
9:00 am – 5:00 pm, with days off on Saturday and Sunday. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the area office.
Pay
$53,314.56
